Prestwick Academy have gained the LGBT Charter Silver award which has only been achieved by three other state secondary schools in Scotland.
NEW Prices for school lunch for the academic year 2018/19 will be £2.25 in secondary schools. School meals are freshly prepared each day and provide pupils with value, quality and choice. Special diets are available on request and can be provided in all schools.

DYW Ayrshire are supporting the #educationshouldbe campaign and are reaching out to the under 26 year olds in your organisation to contribute by sharing their thoughts on education.
As part of tackling the objective of the Year of Young People 2018 a platform for young people has been set up for them to have their views heard and acted upon. This allows young people to share their thoughts on education in Scotland.
Later in the year findings will be revealed at a grand event allowing young people's thoughts on education to be heard by key influencers of education in Scotland.
