PRESTWICK ACADEMY LIBRARY |
COVID-19 UPDATEAs we adjust to the school closures, we are all having to get to grips with moving learning into the home. Most of our teaching will now be provided through online platforms; however, this page is dedicated to providing further resources that may be useful in aiding learning (and promoting reading) at home. The literacy world has rallied in the current climate and many authors, illustrators, publishers and online educational resource providers are creating new resources, reading stories, or making existing materials temporarily freely available. The resources available, in particular those provided by authors, seem to be changing daily, so keep an eye on our Twitter feed, or monitor the hashtags #UnitedByBooks and #FreeBookResources to keep up-to-date. Additionally, this list of resources compiled by the School Library Association is regularly updated.
