Ayrshire Music FestivalPrestwick Academy School String Orchestra won the Bank Of Scotland Trophy at the Music Festival on Saturday night in Ayr Town Hall. Congratulations to all involved.
Specific congratulations to Laura Williamson, 2A3, who won her piano recital class and also to a quartet comprising Hazel Jamieson, Rachel Home, Katie Beadle and Mairi Watson, who won their class of String Ensemble and were graded outstanding in their assessment. Both groups have been invited to perform at a final concert on Friday (23rd March) at 7pm in Ayr Town Hall. Tickets are £6 and available at the door.

SOUTH AYRSHIRE CHAMBER ORCHESTRAMany pupils from Prestwick Academy recently attended 2 residential weekends as members of The South Ayrshire Chamber Orchestra.
