"Who wants to be a Scientist?"

On Tuesday 17th January 2012, the Science Bus from Glasgow Science Centre, came to Prestwick Academy to enable all S2 pupils to see the interactive Science show ‘Who Wants to be a Scientist?’

The aim of the show was to engage, inform and enthuse pupils using Biology, Chemistry and Physics demonstrations, whilst highlighting the importance of Science subjects to a whole host of careers.

Most pupils found the show to be an enjoyable experience and many thanks to our two brave teacher volunteers, Mr Bryden and Mr Carpenter, for lying on a bed of nails!
