SCOTTISH NIGHT SUCCESS Members of Prestwick’s St Nicholas Ladies Golf Club and their friends were treated to a fun filled evening of entertainment when Mrs Elaine Morran asked a group of Prestwick pupils to provide entertainment at a Scottish evening which she was organising. The guests were welcomed by Connor Hull on the bagpipes and enjoyed a selection of Scottish music provided by the Prestwick Academy Folk group. For more information and photos, click Read More ![]() During the course of the evening, the guests enjoyed a fabulous performance of Robert Burns’ Tam O’ Shanter by Jamie Menzies, the Academy’s Head Boy, and The Highland Fling by Rachel Home. The Ladies also sampled the wonderful solo voices of Evie Wilson and Rebecca Clark who sang ‘Caledonia’ and ‘Ae Fond Kiss’ respectively. The folk group consisting Evie Wilson (fiddle), Rebecca Clark (fiddle), Jamie Menzies (keyboard), Rachel Home (fiddle), Alison Tait (fiddle), Hazel Jamieson (fiddle) and Calum Park (guitar) brought the evening to a close with a selection of Scottish music and ending with Auld Lang Syne. A fantastic evening was had by all!
