Skills Development Scotland have professionally qualified Careers Advisers based in every state secondary school throughout Scotland. Your school careers advisers are Gordon Armstrong and Craig Kubica. Throughout the year pupils can access the following support:
• One-to-one career coaching appointments to explore their post school options and develop career management skills.
• Employability support – Help with CVs, applications, personal statements etc.
• Group sessions on topics such as making subject choices, post school options, developing career management skills and labour market information.
To make an appointment, pop by the school careers office (pupil support corridor), speak to your guidance teacher or email Gordon.Armstrong@sds.co.uk

Parents/Carers are more than welcome to make an appointment if they would like to discuss any aspect of their young person’s future, particularly around post school options or around that all important subject choice time.
