The pressure was maintained with Louis Macintosh having little to do in the opening half. Declan
Hughes was able to lob the Belmont keeper for number two in an almost carbon copy of the first goal before pressure from Lewis Grant and Alastair Boyle won possession for Cameron McKenzie to feed Declan for his second of the half.
Half Time - Prestwick 3 Belmont 0
Belmont started the second half the better team with Louis showing that he was alert to any danger to tip the ball over from a long range effort, but the Prestwick defence, Fraser Patterson, Darrell Cotton, Harry Mitchell and Kai Skeoch stood firm. Prestwick were soon back in the game and neat play from Kai and Alastair Boyle sent Morgan through the Belmont defence to slot home a 4th into the bottom left corner.
Gavin Suttie replaced Lewis Grant and a couple of dangerous runs down the right helped Prestwick to maintain their attacking play in the closign stages but after failing to clear, the Belmont number 11 managed to prod home past Louis for a consolation goal. There was still time for Declan to grab his hat-trick after good play through the middle found Gavin out on the left. A low cross was controlled well by Hughes who spun and finished to make the game and the League title safe.
