Primary Versus Secondary Chess Challenge Pupils from our Associated Primaries challenged some of our Secondary pupils to a chess tournament. 8 Pupils ere selected to form each team and the games were played at Prestwick Academy.

7-2 win seals league title for Prestwick The 3rd year boys football team wrapped up the league yesterday with a convincing 7-2 victory over Belmont. They have played some great football over the season and have thoroughly deserved the title.
The game was made a double header so Belmont did not have to come here twice, so was also the semi final of the Cup. The final is scheduled for the 23rd April at Dam Park. Ayr School Golf Open The Ayr Schools Golf Open will be taking place in June this year.
The competition will include Prestwick Academy for the first time. Any Boys or Girls wishing to be considered for entry should give their name to Mr Bryden in the PE Department. Congratulations to Kieran Brand who won gold in the 100m Back Stroke and silver in the 200m Back Stroke in the Scottish National Schools Swimming Championships. For more swimming results, click Read More S1-S3 Netball Match Report Congratulations to Prestwick Academy's S1-3 Netball team who defeated two Cumnock teams 6-5 and 4-1. Although Prestwick only had the one team they still managed to win both games to register their first victories of the year.
